What do you consider the main achievements in your life?

I am passionate about life and committed to spreading positive energy wherever I go. Maintaining an optimistic mindset has been fundamental in achieving my most significant accomplishment: creating a loving and joyful home for my children. This mindset also led me to pivot from a successful corporate career to a more fulfilling path—directly supporting artists. As the founder of a relationship coaching practice, I am excited to leverage my knowledge and experience to uplift others, particularly female musicians, helping them find their voice and thrive in a space that holds deep personal significance for me. It’s incredibly rewarding to create a ripple effect of positivity and support through both my professional and personal life.

What drives you to be at the top of your game?

My name is Mai Fawzy, and I am 42 years old. I graduated from Alson Faculty with a major in German. Over the years, I’ve faced numerous challenges, yet I’ve always chosen authenticity over adversity. I rejected a victim mentality and instead embraced my struggles, focusing on healing and resilience.

I transformed my narrative from that of a struggling, divorced woman into one of empowerment. Today, I am a certified life and relationship coach, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), dedicated to helping others heal and grow through love.

As a mother of two wonderful children, Mariam and Yousef, I navigated the journey of being a single working mother. I began my career as an executive secretary, overcoming obstacles along the way. Rather than viewing these challenges as burdens, I embraced them as opportunities for growth and self-awareness.

Fueled by a strong desire to learn, I pursued various courses in mental health, culminating in a Ph.D. My interest in psychology led me to further my education in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), and I became a certified NLP Practitioner. I also take great pride in being a certified relationship coach recognized by the ICF.

What are your success strategies? Have you dealt with failure? If so, how did you overcome it and resurge?

Speaking up in the corporate world when things weren’t right was undoubtedly challenging, but I always felt it was crucial to address issues directly. While difficult, I’ve learned that honesty and transparency are essential for driving positive change and fostering growth. By sharing my experiences, I’ve connected with others who’ve faced similar challenges, reinforcing the importance of standing up for what’s right and creating a supportive community.

What did you have to do in order to share your story and inspire others?

To share my story in a way that inspires others, I had to fully embrace vulnerability and reflect on my journey—from my time in the corporate world to founding my own company. It required me to be open about both my struggles and triumphs and acknowledge that my experiences could positively impact others. Transitioning from a corporate career to pursuing something meaningful was a major part of this story, and sharing how that leap of faith paid off has encouraged others to take risks of their own. I’ve seen firsthand how the power of storytelling can inspire someone to follow their passion or feel more confident in their choices.

I’ve also learned the value of surrounding myself with a network of mentors and peers whose support has been instrumental in helping me find my voice and drive positive change for others.

    What makes your story unique?

What makes my story unique is that I pursued higher education and personal growth while working full-time as an executive secretary. I shifted my mindset from one of victimhood to one of resilience, always striving to improve myself and motivate those around me. Each morning, I share positive messages on LinkedIn to encourage others and remind us all of the power we possess as women. Authenticity is the core principle that guides me.

I am here to offer guidance to those in need and strive to be a role model who shows that our circumstances do not define us. As I often say, “If you want to change your life, change your thoughts.”
