What do you consider the main achievements in your life?

One of my proudest achievements has been founding EDARCH LABS, where I’ve combined my passion for education and aviation to empower others in their careers. Additionally, being a finalist for the Leading Ladies of Aerospace Glass Breaker Awards in 2022 and the Nations of Women Change Maker Awards in 2021, along with earning titles like Employee of the Quarter and Best Student Advisor, have been meaningful acknowledgments of my dedication and hard work. Completing my MSc in Aerospace Engineering with Distinction and my role in developing an accredited Aircraft Maintenance program also stand as milestones that reflect my drive for excellence.

What drives you to be at the top of your game? What are your success strategies?

My drive stems from a passion for continuous learning and the pursuit of excellence in everything I do. Having the opportunity to mentor and guide the next generation of professionals inspires me to maintain high standards. My success strategies revolve around staying adaptable, fostering collaboration, and leveraging my diverse experiences across education, engineering, and consultancy. By setting clear goals and constantly pushing myself to innovate—whether through curriculum development or research—I’ve managed to keep pace with the ever-evolving aviation industry and academia.

Have you dealt with failure? If so, how did you overcome it and resurge when all the chips were down?

Yes, I have faced moments of failure, particularly when juggling personal challenges and professional ambitions. One such instance was navigating a career pause while reassessing my life priorities. To overcome these setbacks, I focused on self-reflection and building resilience. I sought out new opportunities to reinvent myself, eventually founding EDARCH LABS, which allowed me to combine my expertise in aircraft maintenance with a passion for education and mentorship. This transition not only reignited my career but also enabled me to inspire others going through similar struggles.

How easy was it for you to speak up and share your story when times were tough?

I find it difficult to share my story, as it requires confronting vulnerabilities and doubts. However, I’ve come to realize that my experiences, both successes and challenges, can serve as valuable lessons for others. By embracing authenticity and engaging with a supportive community, I’ve gradually found the courage to speak up.

What did you have to do in order to be able to share your story to inspire others?

I had to first acknowledge the significance of my journey and understand that every challenge I faced added value to my narrative. It required a mindset shift—moving from seeing obstacles as setbacks to viewing them as growth opportunities. Building confidence through volunteer roles, speaking engagements, and professional networks also helped solidify my voice. Ultimately, embracing vulnerability, coupled with my passion for empowering others, enabled me to share my story meaningfully and inspire those who are just starting their journeys.
