The event highlighted inspirational, yet tangible strategies for Career Transformation, by Naila al Moosawi, our distinguished guest.

Naila has reached the pinnacle of business, sitting on multiple Boards following a prolific career. As a former HR Director at ExCo level, she shared the most critical transferable skills professionals need to demonstrate to transition and survive the CoVid19 challenges:

• Being transformational in your leadership style; sticking to old ways and not considering the impact of daily challenges to those around you will not cut it
• Agility – showing you are able to adapt and change as situations transpire
• Resilience – demonstrating that you have what it takes to climb a mountain without giving up; it is no longer enough to say you have it all covered when times are good. As her quote above says, you do have to keep swimming until you find a safe shore…
• Creativity – highlighting how you have developed new approaches and solutions to overcome challenges;
• Entrepreneurship – being able to show you can think outside the box within a corporation or as a business owner. Able to take on the commercial reins and take responsibility.

We cannot do this amazing woman’s input justice.
